【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsforseveraltypesandgradesofelectrodepositedcopperplusnickelpluschromiumornickelpluschromiumcoatingsonsteel,nickelpluschromiumcoatingsoncopperandcopperalloys,nickelpluschromiumcoatingsonType300and400seriesstainlesssteelandcopperplusnickelpluschromiumcoatingsonaluminumanditsalloysandzincalloysforapplicationswherebothappearanceandprotectionofthebasismetalagainstcorrosionareimportant.Fivegradesofcoatingsareprovidedtocorrespondwiththeserviceconditionsunderwhicheachisexpectedtoprovidesatisfactoryperformance:namely,extendedverysevere,verysevere,severe,moderate,andmild.DefinitionsandtypicalexamplesoftheseserviceconditionsareprovidedinAppendixX1.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotcovertherequirementsfortheplatingonplastics,seeSpecificationB604.1.3Thefollowinghazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportions,AppendixX2,AppendixX3,AppendixX4,andAppendixX5ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofsafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
