【摘要】:Themeasurementofsolubleoxidizablecomponentsofcelluloseinsodiumhydroxideisindicativeofthepurityofthecellulosesample,sincepurecelluloseisinsolubleinsodiumhydroxide.Theextractedcomponentsaretypicallyhemicelluloses,whicharenaturallypresentinthewood.Differencesinpulppuritycanhaveadramaticimpactontheprocessingandpropertiesofthecellulosederivativesproducedfromthepulp.1.1Thistestmethodisintendedforapplicationtodissolving-typecellulosepulpspreparedfromcottonorwood.Theprocedureisnotdirectlyapplicabletounrefinedpulpsforuseinchemicalconversionprocessesbecausesolubilityequilibriummaynotbeattainedwithinthespecifiedextractiontime.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
