【摘要】:Theprocedureinthistestmethodisusedtoevaluatetheeffectivenessofatestreagent(antimicrobialagent/activeingredient)orformulationtoreduceorcompletelykillbacterialpopulationsoncontaminatedfabricsandinwashwaterfollowingasinglewashundersimulatedlowwashvolumeconditions.(SeeTable1.)1.1Thistestmethodisdesignedtoevaluatesanitizing/disinfectantlaundrydetergents/additivesforuseinhighefficiency(HE)automaticclotheswashingoperationsthattypicallyutilizeverylowwashwatervolumes.Thistestmethodisdesignedtoprovidetestingwithrepresentativevegetativebacteriabutcanalsobedesignedtoaccommodatethetestingoffungiandviruses.Note18212;TestMethodE2274istherecommendedmethodtoevaluatesanitizing/disinfectantlaundrydetergent/additivesforuseintraditionalhighwashwatervolumeautomaticclotheswashingoperations.1.2Knowledgeofmicrobiologicaltechniquesisrequiredfortheseprocedures.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Note28212;Inthismethod,metricunitsareusedforallapplications,exceptfordistanceinwhichcaseinchesareused.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
